MCP and standalone scripts require Node.js 20.3+. The online tool needs no installation. No account or key is required. Downloads are source previews; hosted endpoint availability is determined by actual requests.
Use in an MCP client
- Install Node.js 20.3 or later and open your client's MCP configuration.
- Copy this standard STDIO configuration while preserving other MCP servers. Configuration locations vary by client.
- Save and connect, then ask: ‘Find café poster prompts with example images.’

}Use in a Skill client
- Download the Skill ZIP. Unzip it if your client installs folders.
- Import the complete inkroom-prompts folder, including SKILL.md, scripts/ and LICENSE.
- Alternatively, give the installation instructions below to an assistant that supports installing Skills from GitHub.
Install the inkroom-prompts Agent Skill from https://github.com/InkRoom-AI/inkroom-client/tree/main/skills/inkroom-prompts. Read SKILL.md and include its scripts/ folder and LICENSE. No account, API key or MCP Token is required. Search public prompts first; optimize only after a successful empty search or an explicit rewriting request. Never generate images or attach a library example to an optimized prompt.Troubleshooting
- No match
- Try more specific subject, style or purpose keywords
- Allowance unavailable
- Wait until the retry time; do not send repeated requests
- Service not released or temporarily unavailable
- Try later; obtaining a key will not resolve it
- Client connection failed
- Check Node.js, STDIO configuration and network; do not substitute the paid image MCP Token configuration
Privacy, sources and scope
Keywords and ideas are sent to the dedicated service prompts.inkroom.ai. AI optimization may send the idea to its configured text-model provider. Include only what is needed. Example images are requested from static.inkroom.ai when displayed or opened.
This tool finds and refines prompts; it does not generate images. Any later image generation follows that service's model, pricing and authorization flow.
How does the prompt assistant work?
Enter a subject, purpose or style, such as ‘café poster’, to search the public library.
View the example and complete prompt. Check composition, text and style against your idea.
Copy the prompt you like. If no match is found and the free optimizer is available, AI can prepare a prompt without an example image.
Online tool, MCP or Skill?
| Method | Best for | Get started |
|---|---|---|
| Online tool | Finding and copying prompts immediately | Enter keywords here; no installation |
| MCP | Calling prompt tools in a conversation | Add the keyless configuration to a client supporting STDIO MCP |
| Skill | Guiding an agent through search and rewriting | Import the complete Skill folder or supported ZIP |
Common questions
Do I need an account, API key or MCP Token?
No. The online tool, inkroom-prompts MCP and Skill use the same keyless prompt interface, subject to server-side free limits.
Does every prompt have an example image?
Library results include their original examples when available. AI-optimized prompts do not generate an image and are never paired with another prompt’s example.
What happens when there is no match?
Only a successful empty search can lead to one text-model optimization, when the service and free allowance permit it. Network and catalog errors are reported instead of being treated as empty results.
What if I reach the free limit?
Wait until the indicated retry time. Clients sharing a network exit may share an IP allowance. Do not split requests or change identities to bypass limits. Daily windows reset at Beijing midnight.
Can I use the prompts and examples commercially?
Prompts and images retain their original sources and licenses. The tool code’s MIT license does not grant commercial rights to third-party content; check the source terms.
